Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to COVID-19

LAST UPDATED ON 12/17/2020

As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Portland Comprehensive Treatment Centers to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Portland Comprehensive Treatment Centers.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

  • All staff has received infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance has been provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are being monitored and utilized.
  • Temperature and symptom screening protocols are in place for all patients and staff.
  • Cleaning service contracts have been reviewed for additional support.
  • Personal protective equipment items are routinely checked to ensure proper and secure storage.
  • CDC informational posters are on display to provide important reminders on proper infection prevention procedures.
  • We are in communication with our local health department to receive important community-specific updates.

The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19.

The CDC has provided a list of easy tips that can help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Learn About Us

Allied Health Services of East Portland is a primary provider of medication-assisted treatment for individuals ages 18 and older who are battling opioid addictions. At Allied Health Services of East Portland, we provide complete, full-circle care that includes a blend of safe and effective medications and therapeutic interventions.

Our Treatment Therapies

With a team of professionally trained counselors, nurses, and doctors, Allied Health Services of East Portland is able to offer patients an environment that is both secure and inviting as they begin making their way towards recovery. Our devoted and caring staff members are able to monitor patients who come to us with addictions to morphine, prescription painkillers, or heroin by supervising the administration of medication to ensure positive treatment outcomes. At Allied Health Services of East Portland, we offer only the most effective and proven safe medications, which include the following:

  • Subutex
  • Methadone
  • Suboxone

The medication that is prescribed will depend on the individual needs and health status of the patient. All dosages and alterations to that medication can be made by a medical professional during the course of treatment if it is necessary.

To provide patients with a truly well rounded course of care for their opioid addictions, we, at Allied Health Services of East Portland, believe in supplying therapy in addition to medication. We feel strongly that it is important for patients to understand and acknowledge the causes behind their use and addiction development, as well as find an appropriate outlet for their emotions surrounding recovery. In addition, we encourage our patients to develop a support system comprised of individuals who have shared similar addiction-related struggles. For these reasons and more, Allied Health Services of East Portland offers the following therapies:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy

If you or someone you care for is grappling with an opioid addiction, please contact Allied Health Services of East Portland to obtain the treatment that will change your or your loved one’s life for the better.
